PRODUCTS – A1 IS A RESELLER OF PRODUCTS THUS DO NOT WARRANT ANY PRODUCTS. PRODUCT MANUFACTURERS WILL HONOR WARRANTIES OF PRODUCTS BOUGHT FROM A1.
Workmanship warranty –
- Installations – 6 months
- Repairs (welding / fixings / cabling ) – 3 months
- Emergency / rushed not quoted for repairs – No warranty
No warranty on the following product categories
- Batteries (any)
- Standby systems (i.e inverters, power supplies, charge regulators)
- Tension/torsion springs
Site Conditions
Electrical situation on site – failure to disclose any outages or problems like low voltage or poor current or load shedding schedules will be invoiced at the current hourly labor rate.
Outside of scope, changes / add-ons / “gou gou” / “while here” / will be billed at hourly labor rate and expenses will be for the customer’s account
Animals / Pets / Children to be held clear from installation area please.
Installation area – vehicles to be moved to safe distance,
Building Rubble & Painting – We do not remove building rubble nor do we paint unless specified.
Installation of gate and or garage operator conformity.
- Power source installed and functional (isolated and safe to connect)
- No pipes or electrical cables are in the way of the intended installation.
- Enough space is available for the gate or door operator with the gate or door in the required open position
- Soil condition for base plate or ceiling mounting is solid.
- Gate or Door mass, length and application is within the operator specifications
- Gate or Door is in good working order, meaning:
7.1 that it moves freely, does not move on its own if left in any position
7.2 it can be installed to have sufficient clearance between moving parts when opening
and closing to reduce the risk of personal injury and entrapment
7.3 push buttons or key switches, when required, can be positioned so that the gate is in line of sight of the operator (motor)
GSM Devices & Mobile Apps:
We do not do software installations or device setups on mobile phones. Manufacturers will have a full user support system available.
Cancellations and Refunds
- a 10% admin fee will be levied if refund is requested after equipment sourced and paid for (some instances 15 may be applicable)
- paid only towards certified bank confirmation letter
- payments are made after 14 days.
